After undergoing treatment in Germany

Practical questions may arise after undergoing treatment in Germany. Your doctor or dentist may for instance issue you with a bill which you cannot understand, or the pharmacist in your home country may not understand a German prescription.

  • Questions about bills issued by the healthcare providers

If you disagree with the bill which your healthcare provider has issued to you, you will find information here as to what you can do about it.

  • Follow-up treatment

If you need to undergo medical follow-up, you can have this carried out either in Germany or in the state in which you live. Several preconditions must be met in order to do so.
